Welcome to Gate City. It is a fantasy city based somewhat on Greensboro, NC. Gate City is a paranormal hub due to it's position between three intersecting lay lines. The land itself is just more magical, and with a lot of history to draw upon. Located not far from K-Vegas, Old Salem, Queen City, and The Triangle powerful movers and shakers in the supernatural community pass through frequently. Gate City is so named due to it's massive transportation network between long standing railyards, trucking companies, and an international airport. It also is only an hour away from Pilot Mountain, a place known to be a magical vortex on the point of converging Leylines. The Mountain is primarily made up of Quartz, and it's said that crystals from the location are the best for working with energy. Gate City also sits on battlefields from both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars. The land once was the home of the Cheraw Native Americans. | |||
