White Court

From DFA Gate City

The White Court doesn’t stalk you from the shadows—they wait for you in the candlelight. They smile across crowded rooms, whisper in your dreams, and touch your heart long before they ever draw your blood. If the Red Court feeds on flesh, and the Black on fear, the White Court feeds on what you give freely—your desire, your secrets, your shame.

They are the most human of the vampire courts. The most beautiful. The most insidious.

The White Court rules not through strength of arms, but through emotion, weaving influence in boardrooms, bedrooms, and back alleys alike. Their power is subtle and suffocating, like a silk noose. They feed on the passions of mortals—lust, despair, rage, even love—drawing it out slowly, savoring it, until all that's left is a hollow echo where your will used to be.

Each House of the White Court is a serpent coiled in society’s lap.

  • House Raith feeds on lust, hidden behind beauty and prestige.
  • House Malvora gorges itself on fear and despair, playing predator in corporate towers or war zones.
  • House Skavis—or what’s left of it—devours sorrow and grief, walking the world like funeral ghosts.

But power always comes at a price. The White Court is cursed with a weakness none of the others share: love. Real love. If a White Court vampire truly feels it—unfiltered, selfless love—it burns them from the inside out. Not metaphorically. It literally destroys them.

Their estates are elegant, their manners impeccable, their pleasures boundless. But behind the masks is a quiet hunger—a gnawing need to feel something real again, to reclaim the humanity they still wear like silk over fangs.

Be wary of the White Court.

They will never take more than you offer.

But they will make you want to offer everything.
